Alexander Dakers Father & Sons Exhibition

Having been at many Art exhibitions around London. I was interested in seeing the art works of the artist Alexander Dakers. This artist has been known for his polictical arts about the events in Chile in 1973. His stance is very strong on a very difficult topic with many views on it. Some of his work has found a permanent home in the Human Rights Museum in London Amnesty International head office

However since I was in London I decided to see the exhibition called "Father & Sons" the work of Alexander Dakers and his late father Alexander Stuart Dakers at the Espacio gallery from the 21st August till 27th August

Connections was the key to this exhibition for families who had experienced loss

Certain artists have made their mark on human history by carving a reputation for being especially colorful when its comes to producing paintings. Some of the most famous paintings of all time have been designated so due to the artists use of perspective, realism, and many other elements.

Alexanders work is very striking with a massive use of textures, colors, and techniques.

His work is very diverse and often feels your looking at different artists work

His pop stars work and face painting portraits was very stunning and use of textures quite stunning on certain paintings on disply at the exhibition

His Bowie painting for me as a fan of the music icon was brilliant the use of color and the realism of the painting as if Bowie was watching over you was a personal favourite of mine.

His fathers work shows in a way the same diverse in works. 

I personally felt an emotional feeling at the exhibition of loss when looking at his fathers art with his sons work and when I came to the painting "Farewell Dad" I felt so attached to this masterpiece painting which was just perfect.

This piece of art had a thousand words and meanings in it. Its honestly hard discribe this painting its needing to be seen and felt. This art piece will go far in world arts

Expressive painting, brighten up any interior space with colorful and harmonious compositions. The artist impressive output has drawn attention to his work over the years, and we all are looking forward to see his evolution in 2024

An artist to watch as you dont finish 4th in an International Arts Exhibition in Tokyo unless your art is been recognised. Alexander deserves be in that selection of artists with a bright future ahead. His art is delightful and I have done many Art reviews but I give this a 5 strong star rating

Moki Cherry: ‘Here and Now’ Exhibition

fter a day of set design, creative collaboration and artistic expression, Moki Cherry still had to cook dinner for the kids. Sure, she did it in an improvised kitchen in a museum, but she still had obligations. Obligations that her husband and collaborator, the legendary jazz musician Don Cherry, was comparatively free of. That’s one of the main narratives of this show, the first of the Swedish designer and artist’s work in the UK. Her’s is the story of so many artist mothers, of domestic and creative work being intimately linked, but always done under constraints: ‘I was my husband’s muse, companion, and collaborator. At the same time, I did all the practical maintenance.
